Triangle Restaurant Week

If you are as obsessed with fancy food as I am then you would probably like to know that this week is “Triangle Restaurant Week“. This means that some really fancy restaurants in the triangle area will be offering a special fixed price, 3-course meal each and every day during this event.

Last night a group of my classmates a I went to Sitti Restaurant in Raleigh for dinner and to celebrate being done with our first Neurology test of the block. I have been to Sitti before and I can’t complain. I love the open space layout and the prompt and friendly service but I love their food {Oh} so much more.

The Restaurant Week Menu included two appetizers (a salad and a soup), 3 entrees (one vegetarian) and 2 desserts. I tried both the clam chowder and the beets and tarragon salad and both were fantastic. I had the salmon entree which was perfectly cooked and served with a rice/lentil combo that could not have been any better. For dessert, I had the pistachio cake which comes in a very generous portion and I had to take most of it home to enjoy later.

All of this deliciousness is just $20.00 this week. The regular dinner menu has entrees priced between $12 and $20+ dollars so this was a great deal and I highly recommend it if you are looking for a fancy and delicious dinner at a very nice place.

The list of participating restaurants can found on the Triangle Restaurant Week website along with deals and prices.
