This post is mostly dedicated to my mom, who has been calling at all weird hours asking for my bra size and whether I’m still wearing a size 3 in pants (which by the way, has not happened since high school). Yes, you guessed it, she has been doing her holiday shopping.
I love the holidays and I love the family traditions that are associated with them – for example, at my in-laws everybody gets new pajamas on Christmas eve and we all have a sit down breakfast on Christmas morning. But mostly, everybody, both adults and children in my family love giving and receiving presents.
We all receive and send wish lists of presents we would love and although we may not always stick to those lists, they are a nice guide for facilitating our Christmas shopping. We never buy expensive things for each other but whatever we do get, either by buying or making ourselves, they are sure to make our Christmas morning of trading presents under the tree a truly magical and special family moment.
So mom, here is my Christmas list to help you with your shopping and also to keep you from giving me bras for Christmas.
